What you will be doing:
As a Night Auditor, you’ll bring professionalism, precision, and a warm sense of hospitality to every shift – ensuring our guests experience a seamless stay from evening to morning. Balancing guest service with administrative excellence, you’ll oversee nightly operations, reconcile accounts, and serve as the key point of contact for guests and staff after hours.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide a warm, engaging and personalized experience for our guests
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely manner
- Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers
- Audit all in house guests’ portfolios for completeness and accuracy
- Report hotel financial records and create reports in accordance with the Carmens Group accounting team
- Roll front desk computers to next business day
- Manage and resolve all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Use persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services available at the Hotel
- Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities
The Hospitality You Bring to Every Stay
- 1-2 years’ experience in a hotel environment, preferably as a Guest Services Agent or Night Auditor
- Friendly, professional, and customer service focused
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Smart Serve certification required
- Availability to work 11:00pm until 7:00am both mid-week and on weekends
- Completion of college or university program in hospitality management is considered an asset
- Experience using Hotel PMS software Opera Cloud considered an asset
