YOU WOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Oversee the food & beverage operations for the restaurant
  • Supervise and coach all team members by demonstrating superior customer service skills and living the mission, vision, and values
  • Assist with front of house employee relations, including recruitment, training, coaching, and recognition
  • Complete closing and opening duties in a timely manner and ensure that front-of-house service staff do so accordingly.
  • Oversee guest reservations, supporting increasing guest bookings 
  • Assist with executing private events including working with the internal team on innovative experiences for the guests
  • Maintain the POS system as required
  • Ensure compliance with food & safety standards as well as AGCO legislation
  • Responsible for the health and safety of the front of house restaurant team
  • Create a memorable guest experience including menu execution and food quality, overall experience, and ensuring feedback is received.
  • Rectify any member or guest issues as needed.
  • Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our members and guests by directly contributing their extraordinary memories.
  • Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Perform all other side duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a restaurant experience, or a related role in the hospitality / tourism industry is required
  • 1-2 years’ previous supervisory experience is an asset
  • Smart Serve certified
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail & time management skills
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, food & beverage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Positive interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite, Open Table and POS systems (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
  • Humble, uplifting, and supportive leadership style
  • Ability to work on a variable schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
