Position Details:
Job Type: fulltime, permanent
Vacancy: This posting is for an existing vacancy
Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000

What you will be doing:
Manage daily cash operations, deposits, and bank reconciliations
Oversee petty cash and pre-authorized vendor payments
Process online bill payments accurately and on time
Enter and process vendor invoices in QuickBooks
Monitor approvals and ensure timely payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Communicate with vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries
Reconcile corporate credit card transactions
Import and code expense data from Float into QuickBooks
Ensure compliance with expense policies and documentation standards
Process customer refunds and support accurate tip pool payouts
Post intercompany journal entries
Assist with month-end and year-end close
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Provide support for accounting systems (QuickBooks, Float, Event Temple)
Contribute to process improvements and internal controls
Other related duties as required
Qualifications:
Post secondary education in accounting, finance or a related field required
Experience working in accounting is considered an asset
General understanding of computerized accounting systems
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and QuickBooks
Accuracy and attention to detail while working under tight deadlines
Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Good time management and prioritization skills
Ability to interpret and apply Company policies
Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
