Position Details: 

Job Type: part-time, permanent
Vacancy: This posting is for an existing vacancy (replacement for a currently unfilled position)  
Compensation: $18.00 per hour + gratuities

What You Will Be Doing:
 
  • Prepare event spaces by arranging furniture and room layouts according to event specifications and client expectations.
  • Safely transport event materials, décor, furniture, and supplies throughout the venue using carts, dollies, and other equipment.
  • Set up tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, and event equipment based on guest counts and event floor plans.
  • Assist with the setup of audiovisual equipment, extension cords, and basic lighting components under the direction of the event team.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of event spaces and back-of-house areas before, during, and after each event.
  • Efficiently dismantle event spaces following each event by removing décor, furniture, staging, and equipment while preparing the venue for the next function.

  • Previous experience in event operations, hospitality, or other physically active, fast-paced environments.
  • A strong work ethic with pride in maintaining clean, organized, and guest-ready event spaces.
  • Dependable and efficient when completing event setup, teardown, and room resets.
  • Able to remain calm, focused, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with a willingness to support colleagues wherever needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and high presentation standards.
  • Enjoy working behind the scenes to help deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
  • A positive, professional attitude that reflects our values and commitment to outstanding hospitality.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy furniture and equipment throughout the venue.
