Carmens Group is expanding! We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant at our newest venue, a winery in Beamsville.

- Indoor maintenance of the property including but not limited to: painting, minor plumbing fixes, bulb and battery changes, small repairs etc.
- Ensure the property is clean, and all amenities are functioning properly
- Ensure fire safety materials and equipment are accessible and fully functioning
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and/or other tasks as assignment by Management
- Outdoor maintenance of the property, ensuring cleanliness and upkeep for guest appeal and safety
- Assisting in snow removal during the winter months
- Assist with watering and tending to plants during the summer months
- Assisting with set up and tear down for special events
- Ladder work within the property including cleaning of high fixtures
- Assist team in unloading the deliveries
- Garbage removal for bins located both inside and outside, including emptying cigarette receptacles
- Participate in safety discussions with the team and ensure priority areas are addressed quickly
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic painting skills
- Experience with hand tools
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Results oriented and self-motivated
- Team player
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Working indoors and outdoors
- Flexible availability both mid-week and on weekends, mornings and evenings
