YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Greet and welcome guests, clients and employees with a warm and professional attitude
- Assist visitors with general information about the convention, facilities, and schedules.
- Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.
- Direct guests to their designated areas and provide assistance with event navigation
- Help maintain a clean and organized entrance and lobby area
- Answer any questions regarding the events or general services
- Collaborate and work alongside operations team
- Receive and distribute various forms of correspondence.
- Ensure the safety of all guests, clients and team members
- Work with third party security providers when needed to address any security concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain records of all activities and incidents at the Hamilton Convention Centre
- Monitor entrances to ensure the safety and security of the facility
- Exercise good judgement and demonstrate leadership abilities
- Ensure regular safety and emergency inspections are complete
- Drive positive change in the organization

- Security Guard License
- First Aid Certification considered an asset

- Knowledge of emergency and evacuation procedures
