Process Improvement Specialist

This individual will play a key role in helping to position Carmen’s Group as a leading hospitality brand.


The Process Improvement Specialist manages and coordinates organization-wide efforts to ensure effective standard operating procedures.  Working alongside the executive leadership team, you will implement process improvements that lead to a positive and measurable impact.  You will ensure our brand products and services meet the established standards company wide.      


  • Evaluate existing standard operating procedures for efficiency, compatibility with other departments’ processes, and delivery of desired outcomes
  • Collaborate with business and technological experts to define process requirements
  • Document current management systems
  • Draft new policies and procedures using best management practices
  • Measure, monitor, and report on the consistency and effectiveness of assigned processes
  • Develop and maintain consultative relationships with business resources and subject matter experts 
  • Demonstrate knowledge of operations for individual business units
  • Identify training needs relative to the standard operating procedures
  • Establish a continuous performance improvement effort with monitoring and reporting systems for standardization
  • Work cross functionally to investigate and define root cause to issues as they arrive
  • Make recommendations for corrective and preventative actions


  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in process improvement and analysis
  • Experience in utilizing Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to drive process improvements
  • Knowledge of project management software
  • Experience in process documentation and policy writing
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
